Life & Little Things...birthdays and heat waves

Well it happened...my sweet baby boy turned 16 this week and it's been a week full of celebrations...

and lots of pies and cakes.

I'm not sure where the time went. I know it sounds cliche but seriously where did the time go?! 

This heat wave has been brutal and relentless...I'm not exactly outdoorsy so I've been enjoying all the indoor activities like making progress keepers, necklaces, lotion bars, reading and of course knitting...lots of knitting...

Some days I manage to spend most of my day in the studio just playing and digging through all the craft supplies... it feels so good to create

I managed to get sucked into an instagram ad and ended up with several packs of pressed flowers for yet another craft to play around with lol! Obviously I'll share how it goes! Wish me luck!
