Kalmbach Publishing Soup!

I can't tell you how excited I was to be picked to participate in the Kalmbach Publishing Bead Soup Party. My "Soup" was provided by Wicks & Stones located not too far me in Wyandotte, Michigan.

I tried to keep it very simple and small scale with the beads because the pendant wasn't very large and I LOVE that ceramic heart pendant and didn't want anything too be overbearing or crowding it.

I emphasized on the red and of course couldn't resist adding in a little bit of turquoise :)

Doubled up antiqued silver chain with a side clasp to pick up on the texture and metal of the antiqued silver hoop I added to the pendant portion.

The super sparkly bronze like faceted Czech glass beads picked up on the earth tones in the heart pendant...

Had so much fun participating! You can see even more soup goodness being posted daily to the Kalmbach Facebook page be sure to give them a "like" and check out all the other soup :)

That is a wonderful focal, and I love the pop of blue in the chain.
