My partner for the BSBP this time around is Julie of The Peaceful Bead she sent me such delicious ingredients to work with...
Focal: Lampwork from Anne's Glass Jewels
Clasp: Silver filled that Julie made
Coordinating beads:
Rough cut sapphire
Turquoise impression jasper
Dyed Chinese turquoise chips
Howlite rounds
I knew immediately that I was going to make a necklace and began playing around with how best to show off the focal without taking away from it's GORGEOUS detail and colors...
Lot's of wire wrapping and loops...
I wanted to be able to work the beautiful clasp into the necklace so that it's visible and not hidden at the back of the neck...
I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Creating many links of all the different stones give it great movement...
The colors are soft and dreamy but really pack a punch while keeping it romantic and kinda of delicate looking...
I feel blessed to yet again be a part of such a wonderful blog hop with a terrific partner and a part of such a talented and large (400 participants!! woohoo!!) group of artisans. Thanks for all your hard work and such a great job with everything you do for the BSBP Lori!!!

Beautiful.
That is an amazing necklace. I love the links too. It makes me want to sit on the beach. Great job!
I absolutely LOVE it -- it's something I would wear all the time!!!!!
I am so glad you've participated in the parties and hope you'll come again!
What a gorgeous focal you received and what a nice job you did in showcasing it. Especially like the dangles and the wire wrapped connector.
Beautiful colors. It's such summery ocean kind of piece.
Love the way you added the cluster under the focal it really sets it off
These colors are so soothing! Her clasp is beautiful, and I love the focal! Beautiful job!
What a beautiful piece you have created Marianna. When I was pulling beads to go with the focal, I didn't image them all together. You were somehow able to take those different shades, shapes and textures and turn them into something magical. This focal was clearly destined for you as I could not have done it justice. Wonderful job!
I'm with you it definately strikes a very romantic tone. Very pretty!
Such pretty colors; nicely composed!
Very pretty, soft colors of the glass, the shiny silver, Love it!
What lovely beads and what a lovely design!
That is such a pretty necklace. I love your design, and your partner's skill in that focal!
So elegant and pretty!
So pretty. I love how the dangles echo the design on the lampwork bead.
Such lovely ocean colors - beautiful!
Gorgeous colors, and lovely design. I love the little beads dangling from the focal.
It is dreamy and delicate - even ethereal. Lovely work.
I love how you really highlighted the focal. Wonderful job.
Sweet and flirty! You'll get a lot of wear from this piece.
There's something so calming and refreshing about your necklace. ..like taking a dip in a cool pool on a hot day. It's really pretty.
What a pretty necklace; very serene. Love the asymmetric aspect of the beads and the focal is wonderful!
A fantastic bead soup you received! And the piece you made is just gorgeous! I love the bead cluster at the bottom of the focal--sweet!
Wonderful mix of blues. Love the dangles!
Amazing color and design. I love what you did with your soup.
Marianna, I knew I would love whatever you created when I saw the beautiful grouping on Julie Anne's blog... blue is one of my absolute favorite colors, so to see so many pretty shades grouped together is just gorgeous. I love the cluster of beads under the lampwork focal. I'd wear this in a heartbeat! And I can't wait to see Julie Anne (we're in-person friends) wearing the necklace and rosary bracelet that she made with your soup! :-)
stunning soup with stunning results.
Beautiful piece - I just love the blues with the silver and that focal bead is lovely =)
