Button Swap Reveal...

Button Swap reveal time! I was so excited to be partnered up with the ever talented Tracy Statler who sent me lot's of gorgeous vintage buttons. I missed the stack 'em challenge but thought this would be a perfect way to use some of the pretties she sent me...

I used red Czech glass beads and wire to form a bangle style bracelet including the gorgeous marchasite button...I also formed, hammered and textured up two more bangles leaving one plain with a curly cue twist to it and the other I did a cross over wrap style and included a stunning vintage rhinestone button...

Dainty feminine and fun to stack and wear all three at once or one at a time...I've also worn them layered with even more of my other bracelets and it's just a great look in my opinion, to have an arm full of bangles.

Then I used two of these gorgeous amber colored seed beaded buttons that I thought were just so pretty and tiny and created some simple post style earrings. LOVE the sparkle they give off!

I still have a few more beads left over that I plan to use soon...I'm thinking a bracelet with a button loop clasp. A huge thank you to Cindy from Sweet Bead Studio for putting together this swap/challenge and hosting such a fun blog event! Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day and I hope you'll hop around to the other blogs and check out all the wonderful buttons everyone else received and see how they used them. I'm sure it'll take me all week to get all the way through the list but I can't wait to see them all!

Marianna, the buttons you received from Tracy are right up my alley - and so are the beautiful bangles you created. They have such a sweet vintage look to them and I know the more you stack on, the prettier they are as a set! And the earrings are really a great use of the beaded buttons too - all so beautiful!
Happy Mother's Day - enjoy the day with the boys! :-)

Oh Marianna! Both your bracelets and those earrings are such sweet pieces. I really like the idea of using those beaded buttons as earrings. They look like that's what they were intended for!

Marianna, what lovely bangles you've made! I love the silver and coral flashing together, just gorgeous! And those earrings are super sweet!
Both pieces are so pretty! Really like how you did the stacked bracelets - still quite feminine! And those earrings are so fun!

I'm loving the stacked bangle craze, but as of yet I haven't made any. Your bangles are wonderful--together or alone. I love the bright colors of the beads and the added interest of the curly cues and twists--so cute and whimsical! Those beaded earrings are darling!

Wow-- what pretty bangles you made!!! The flash of orange goes perfectly with the silver, which pairs so well with the flashes of sparkle and contrasting darkness of the vintage buttons.

Thanks for sharing with us on this swap/challenge/hop <3

Lovely bangles but I have to admit the earrings are my favourite. They look like little clusters of sugar crystals, very sweet.
