Holiday Overload...

Did you survive the holiday? I think I'm still on Thanksgiving overload mode. Noah's been off for 10 days...TEN, yeah that's right 10 days. I'm not sure who thought up that brilliant idea. Love having him home but I'm pretty sure he was officially bored with me after day 2. He kept saying he couldn't wait to see what I did all day while he was at school and he bet I went to Target  and the park everyday. Ummmmmm, not quite. Needless to say it didn't take long to read the disappointment on his face once he realized that entertaining his little brother, laundry and general cleaning of the house and getting orders made and shipped out suck up every last second of school hours and then some.

On the plus side he did say he felt bad for me that I work so hard and it looks like a lot of work taking care of him and Lucas and he's pretty sure he doesn't want any kids when he gets older because he'd rather have all the toys to himself and play video games all day lol!

So anyhow here's a few new things I've been working on. This week has been nothing but melting glass and getting orders out but I did manage to sit and finish up some jewelry...

I don't know about you but I drool over copper and turquoise...

The very last of my Moon Stump lampwork that I've been hoarding

mixed with some of my own lampwork, crystals, mixed metals and more...

light as a feather...or leaf ;)

endless hours of wire wrapping...

...for dramatic effect!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a fabulous weekend!

Ohn you are so preaching to the choir! After the eight days without power they've only had 5 off but that is more then enough they've been argueing for 5 straight days!!! We are all really sick of each other and my youngest keep shouting " When are we going OUT???".....not until you get on the bus tomorrow my friend! Hang in there! : )
Maryanna, Your son has quite and imagination to think that you would spend your time at Target and the park, wishful thinking on his part I think. All of your pieces are gorgeous. I really like the turquoise and copper necklace.

Looks like you have been super busy!! Yes...tomorrow we go back to our routines here too.
I love your new jewelry. I think it's neat how you mixed your own lampwork with Moon Stumpp's lampwork! I have a number of her bead sets that I've hoarded through the years too. I especially like your wire-wrapped blue pearl necklace. It's very stunning!
