The Voice of Winter...

This sweet face has a sweet voice to match...soon as Thanksgiving was over the Christmas caroling began...around the house, in the car, while playing, dancing around, shopping, even whispering holiday tunes under his breath while coloring... He's been practicing and loving every minute of it...and I have to say I have been enjoying it very much too.


Sometimes he sings loud and proud...other times he goes for cutesy sing songy silly...

this love of my life and apple of my eye makes me one happy mama :) Even when he has his moments (and trust me, there are many) that make my blood pressure rise, he always manages to throw in one last word or string of words that will have me puzzled over whether I'm still on the verge of losing my mind or about to laugh my head off...even though I know I better not laugh or he'll know my weakness :)

So anyhow, after all his hard work and practicing, tonight's the big night! His very first school Christmas concert. The camera's are all charged and ready to go and I'm stuffing a few tissues in my pocket because I just know a few proud tears will escape. If I manage to cry at Lowe's and jewelry commercials (among many, MANY other lame-o things...I'm such a sap!) surely this sweet little voice belting out holiday tunes amongst a stage full of other cutey 4-5 year old will easily bring on the happy tears :)
