Tis the Season

Whew! I'm feeling better and trying to get back on track. The printer, of course, picks the worse time to run out of ink. I can see this week leading up to Christmas is going to be a busy one. I'm getting the last of the orders ready to head to the post office tomorrow. We got hit really hard with a big snow storm on Friday it was pretty nuts. Still haven't gotten our Friday or Saturday's mail and no pickup either so I'll treck out tomorrow to drop off instead.
We had a super fun day of baking yesterday. Every year since before I was even born my mom and grandmother and anyone else who wanted to come and join in would sit down to make these traditional fabulous italian holiday cookies. It's a memory that I love and can remember helping since I was probably Noah's age! With my grandmother's passing 2 1/2 yrs ago my mother made a promise to herself and to us kids to carry on the tradition. Yesterday my mom, dad, uncle, sister, nephew, noah, joe and I all played our part in creating tray after tray of these yummies. The little ones really had fun with the sprinkles and cookie cutters creating a different type of cookie with their own dough and it was so much fun.

Everything feels so rush, rush this year I think with Thanksgiving falling so late it's hard to belive Christmas is in just a few days! These pics are of a couple of new vintage rings coming soon. I have had very little time to create new things this week so I'm going to spend the week between Christmas and the New Year finishing up a few things and relaxing and just waiting for the new year. I'm heading back to my day of cleaning. With all the snow getting tracked in the floors need help lol! Have a great day and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Oh your family baking tradition sounds just wonderful and I'm so happy your mom is carrying on the tradition! Love the new creations Marianna, always such gorgeous treasures here.

The week is crazy around here as well but in the end it's always worth it.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and I'll be in touch about ordering some beads from you after the new year for a custom order I have. ;-)

Thank you Sharon! You always have the sweetest comments :)
well I think I made my final run to the post office before the holiday and have started sneak wrapping a few presents at time and tonight I'm looking forward to some hot cocoa and cuddling up to the computer to catch up on all my favorite blogs that I've been missing :)

Is it as cold there as it is here?! yikes! I can hardly belive it!

Oh your night sounds wonderful with the hot cocoa, just the thing to take the chill away. Yes, it's awful how cold it is... -6 degrees this morning, I was shocked. Did you get any snow? We only had a few inches. Seems to fall everywhere around us except here, hah!
