TGIF! A Fashion What's Hot entry :)

WOW this week just flew by! As promised, I have been working on new necklace designs for the Fall/Winter Collection and they are looking fabulous. I'll try and give you a sneak peek picture here on my blog later on. The new season is calling for color, mixture of all shades of gorgeous hues. Layered pieces especially bracelets and longer, skinnier styles of chandelier and ear string style earrings are playing into the style mix and you'll be seeing a lot more that at Star Girl as well. I have really been enjoying working with the all the warm colors of Carnelian, Strawberry Quartz, brown variations of Jasper, Coppery beads mixed with Turquoise and even selecting beautiful shades of plum and blues in gorgeous Czech glass beads. Pearls are going to be a big BIG part of fashion once again too. Pearls in my opinion have never gone out of style they always set a nice clean and classic look to anything you wear whether it be jeans and sweater or an evening gown. I have lot's of new designs started and lot's sketched out so I hope to bring you lot's of eye candy to coordinate and give your Fall/Winter wardrobe some pazazz! For Lampwork lovers, even you will get to add these wonderful color combo's into your creations because you will see me creating even more glass baubbles in these hues and color combinations for you and bringing them to you in Tuesdays Specials Bead Happy buy now beads gallery. So I'm working very hard to bring new things for everyone. And of course my favorite, PINK! Pink is still going strong in the fashion world. There are so many shades of pink that it's hard not to fall in love with it. From Corals to cranberry to baby pinks there is a shade of pink to compliment ever color in the rainbow but my most favorite for the coming season is varions shades of pink with browns! It's such a warm color combo and brightens up the complexion and is cheery and youthful on anyone and everyone. Keep and eye out on the Clearance Corner becasue I'll be slowly making more room for the new Fall/Winter line and in order to do so and keep the site looking fresh and clean and decluttered you will be able to get lot's of gorgeous pieces on sale!
READERS CORNER: I competely ate up Ten Big Ones by Janet Evanovich in one sitting last week and have since moved on to Best Selling Author and my fellow BookMasters Group member Jennifer Weiner's newest book Little Earthquakes. Jen is the bestselling author of Good In Bed which is being turned into a HBO series and also of In Her Shoes which is currently being made into a film starring Cameron Diaz due out next year! I love reading Jen's books because I'm always assured a terrific and enjoyable read.
