Life & Little Things...Viva La Blogging!

So here I am trying once again to revive and get back to blogging. Good ole fashion blogs. Does anyone else miss the simplicity of it? I thought about substack but just couldn't bare to abandon my blog, call me old fashion. As we're creeping into Summer Break I'm finding myself puttering around the garden and snapping pictures of all the little things beginning to push through the earth trying to make an appearance. Clipping peonies as they burst open and placing them around the house in tiny little jars or vases. I love being followed around by their scent. 

Started on my Summer TBR with Dungeon Crawler Carl book 2 after starting the series a couple of months ago and let me tell you this is such a fun series so far! Anyone else love when there's a design or something happening on the actual book under the dust jacket? Love when I remember to peek and it's something fun! 

Puzzles are still a part of my morning coffee routine...sometimes I'll even stay up late work on one especially when I feel like I'm really making progress and just can't stop lol! 

Plenty of works in progress on my needles but lately I have been reaching for various socks that I have lingering. These are what I'm calling my Detroit Tigers socks. Knitting around and around on them while watching the games. I'll keep you posted on the progress. I'm almost positive this yarn is hand dyed self striping from The Cozy Knitter. I have quite a large stash of self striping I've been hoarding that I'm trying to knit through and stop with the "Saving it for a special occasion" mentality. Same thing with my Spin Cycle yarn, I think I finally have a sweater planned for some of it. We shall see! 

So all in all, the plan is to share my makings, readings, photography and anything else that's on my mind and to be more consistent with posting the way I used to. I hope you'll join in on helping Blogs to make a comeback! If you have a blog drop the link down below!
